GÇó Can't play game that I'm subscribed to.
GÇó MacBook Pro, 15-inch, Late 2008 Processor 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB 4 GB 1067 Mhz DDR3
GÇó Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (11D50b)
GÇó Click on EVE Online icon in the Applications folder lead to opening EVE Online Launcher that started downloading 300MB of something at step 1 then at step 2 it started applying it and crashed even no one touched anything. Again click on EVE Online icon starting Launcher laying that client is Ready because after clicking Start it gets Error message that you see above.

Please you are talking to people waiting to play, we all tried everything that is within our power to run the game. Reboot, client restart, clear cache, what not!! |

CCP Sputnik wrote:Thank you all for giving this a shot, we are working on a fix for the issue. In the mean time you can used the Generic Patcher to update your client.
I think it would be better to give us a Minesweeper game to play while working on solution.
This is not working and yes we are paying you to test for you.
Generic Patcher is not working, it's launching launcher again and not solving anything.
PS. I'm sorry to be so straight and hard but this happens every single update so I'm pretty much stressed. In my company when someone doesn't do same thing right 2 times he gets fired. |

It looks like launcher detects that client is latest version but previous patching failed.. or rollback to previous version and run whole process again Was just talking with CCP Mandrake about this and you can force the Launcher to patch by deleting the common.ini wich you can find under: EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/transgaming/c_drive/Program Files/CCP/EVE/common.iniDeleting the file and restarting the Launcher will restart the patching process.
OK, finally this seems to solve my issue. |
